Handwara : Debates provide young minds a platform to hone their communication skills and express themselves on relevant issues. The situation in immediate neighbourhood in Afghanistan filled much of the info space in global and national news channels in recent times.

A Debate competition was organised by Army Camp Kakrosa at Warpora Higher Secondary School. The topic for the Debate was “Taliban in power in Afghanistan is likely to result in heightened levels of unrest and violence in J&K” Five students each spoke For & Against the motion and a total of 70 students and school staff witnessed the event.

The speakers came out with some very interesting and thought provoking arguments during the course of the Debate. In the end Best speakers who spoke For and against the motion were felicitated by the School Principal.
