Chief Minister Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, attended the ‘Iftar’ as Chief Guest, hosted by Manish Sisodia, Dy. Chief Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The Minister of Environment, Imran Hussain, Minister of Transport, Kailash Gehlot, Minister of SC/ST Welfare, Rajinder Pal Gautam, Speaker, Delhi Assembly, Ram Niwas Goel, Member of Parliament, Sanjay Singh, Leader of Opposition in Vidhan Sabha, Vijendar Gupta, a number of MLAs & Chief Secretary, Delhi Vijay Dev were also present on this occasion.
Kejriwal prayed and wished for well being, peace & prosperity of the people of Delhi and reiterated commitment of the Delhi Government for serving people of Delhi with full devotion & dedication. He congratulated Shri Manish Sisodia for organising the event which helps in bringing together and integrating people belonging to different communities and sharing common heritage.
The Chief Minister appreciated the communal harmony and peaceful co-existence of the people of different faith and believes in the society. The ‘Iftar’ event expresses the holy month of Ramzan’s spirit of charity, generosity and compassion.
