The team of PP Sarai Kale Khan of South-East District Delhi Police has arrested driver-conductor duo namely (1) Jitender Singh Porwar, 34 years R/o Distt Rudraprayag, UP and (2) Amit, 24 years R/o Shahdara who robbed the passengers of their bus and de-boarded them on the way. From the possession of the accused persons, the robbed money has been recovered and the private bus has been seized.
Looted group of passengers from Bihar
On 08.03.19 at about 7am, a group of labourers (07 victims), reported to the QRT Vehicle at Sarai Kale Khan Bus Stand regarding robbery of their cash by driver and conductor of a private bus bearing no. UP 14 GT 8253. The victims reported that they all are native of Bihar and came to Delhi for first time for labour jobs. In the morning, they all reached Anand Vihar Railway Station by train and after that they boarded above mentioned private bus to go to Najafgarh. Meanwhile, when the bus reached over Yamuna Bridge, the conductor of the bus closed the rear door of the bus and threatened all the passengers by using a danda and looted their money. After looting the money, all 07 passengers were de-boarded by the accused persons near Sarai Kale Khan flyover. On the statement of victims, a case of robbery vide case FIR No. 65/19, u/s 392/34 IPC, PS Sunlight Colony was registered and investigation of the case was initiated.
