The team of STF Crime Branch has been successful in locating and effecting the arrest of one “marijuana” supplier namely Mukesh Kumar, R/o Bihar, Age-30 years and total 101 kg marijuana kept in 4 bags in special cavities made in Tata Sumo vehicle has been recovered. A case vide FIR No.91/19, u/s 20 NDPS, Act PS Crime Branch has been registered in this regard.
On 08/04/19, SI Ashok Kumar received a credible information in STF/Crime Branch that a person involved in supplying of “marijuana” from Orissa & Andhra Pradesh, will come near Gurudwara Bala Sahib, Ring road near Sundial to deliver a huge cache of “marijuana” in a Tata Sumo vehicle and in order to avoid any suspicion, he will use a commercial number vehicle with special cavities made to hide the contraband for this purpose.
On this information, A team led by Insp. Digvijay Singh consisting of SI Ashok Kumar, SI Rajiv Bamel, ASI Bir Singh, ASI Kuldeep, HC Vijay & Ct. Pyar Singh under the supervision of Sh. Pankaj Singh ACP/STF Crime Branch was formed to nab the drug supplier. The team laid a trap in the evening of 08/04/19 near Sundial, ring road, Delhi and apprehended one person namely Mukesh, when he came in a white Tata Sumo with commercial number plate for the delivery of “marijuana” to someone there.
During search, four bags containing total of 101 kg “marijuana” was recovered, which was kept in special cavities made in Tata sumo for this purpose.
