MASTERMIND AND DESPERATE WANTED CRIMINAL NADEEM IN MURDER CASE HAVING A REWARD OF Rs. 50,000/- ARRESTED

With arrest of accused person namely Nadeem R/o Jafrabad, Delhi age 34 years, Staff of AATS/North East District has succeeded in arresting the Mastermind and desperate wanted criminal in Murder Case of PS Seelampur. Accused person was having a reward of Rs. 50,000/- on his arrest and recovered one country pistol with two live cartridges from his possession.

On the intervening night of 4/5-10-2017 at about 01:00 AM two scooty riders were seen carrying a heavy plastic bag at Brahmpuri Road . The patrolling staff of PS Seelampur sensed trouble and tried to stop them, the bag fell from their scooty but scooty turned towards Gautampuri. Police team tried to chase them but they disappeared. Fortunately the Registration Number of the scooty was noted by the staff. When police team checked the bag they found an unknown dead body of a male wrapped in the plastic/gunny bag. Dead body was partially burnt; both legs were tied together with a cord, worn clothes were half burnt. Efforts were made to identify the deceased but of no gain. Hence, cases vide FIR No 612/17 u/s 302/201 IPC was registered at PS Seelampur and investigation taken up.

A team consisting of SI Ravi, SI Satish, ASI Satish Rana, ASI Jitender, ASI Chitranjan, ASI Jaiveer, HC Dharmender, Ct. Parikshit, Vijayveer, Lokesh, Amit and Sanjeev under the leadership of Insp. Vinay Yadav I/C AATS/NE and under close supervision of Gajender Singh, ACP/Ops/NED was constituted to apprehend the Mastermind.
INFORMATION
The last five months, efforts were made by the staff of AATS/NE to trace the Mastermind Nadeem. The desperate wanted criminal was having cash reward of Rs.50,000/- and had been coming frequently in the area of Jafrabad, Delhi to keep hold on his disputed properties. Staff of AATS/NE worked hard on this information and developed the same and for the last one month had raided his hideouts at Sambhal, Rampur, Muradabad and several other places. The hard work of AATS/NE team bore results when on 08.02.2018 at about 4 PM officials of AATS and Special Staff of North East District were present at Babarpur, Terminal, Delhi. Meanwhile, secret information was received that one desperate rewarded criminal involved in sensational murder case of PS Seelampur would come near Crescent Public School, Maujpur, Delhi with illegal weapon. Acting upon the information AATS/NE laid down a trap near Crescent public school, Maujpur, Delhi. At about 05.15 PM, at the instance of informer, the staff smartly and swiftly acted and overpowered the gangster Nadeem after a brief scuffle and from his possession one country pistol with two live cartridges is recovered.

During investigation the Local police of PS Seelampur has arrested three accused persons namely Khalid, Sobi and Shareef but the Mastermind succeeded in evading his arrest. During investigation it was revealed that construction work was going on at the sites of Nadeem. One of the site situated in Jafrabad was checked. At the first floor blood stains and burn material was found on the spot. It was also revealed that one Sharif @ Pravej R/o Gautampuri and Sobi Khan @ Raja also associate of Nadeem worked for Nadeem. In the mean time relatives of deceased also reached Jafrabad in search of deceased. They identified the body of deceased in Mortuary as Athar Abbas R/o New Mustafabad. Deceased also dealt in properties. Nadeem took Rs 5,00,000/- (Five lacs) from Athar Abbas and did not return. He was demanding his money regularly from Nadeem. On this issue hot arguments took place between Nadeem and Athar Abbas. Nadeem with his associates conspired to eliminate Athar Abbas. On 04.10.2017, they called him from his residence and consumed liquor at the site in Jafrabad. When Athar Abbas became partially unconscious Nadeem hit his head with a Bullet from Point Blank Range and then poured melted material of plastic chair on the head of deceased to control the bleeding. They also tried to burn off the body to conceal the identity. Thereafter, all of them removed the body from the spot. Gulfam and Sharif @ Pravej took away the dead body on the scooty provided by Mohd Khalid and others. Khalid helped in the whole process. Body was kept in a gunny bag and thereafter wrapped in a plastic bag which was tied by a jute cord and then removed from the spot with the help of their associates.

During sustain interrogation, Nadeem disclosed his involvement in the case. He told that during the year 2004-05 he started his criminal life in petty offences of theft and was fond of keeping illicit arms. For this he was arrested in the year 2005. Later in lure of money he formed a gang and started grabbing disputed properties and was having association with infamous Gangs of North East Delhi. During interrogation he also confessed that he was being funded by these infamous gangs in purchasing disputed properties. The handsome profit which he gains by selling these properties was further paid to the gangsters of Trans Yamuna area. During one such dispute he committed this murder. For the last five months, he was evading his arrest by changing his hideouts regularly. He stayed at various places like Sambhal, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Lucknow etc. He regularly changed his mobile numbers to conceal his position. He changed around 20 mobile numbers during his run.
