ONE BLIND MURDER CASE HAS BEEN WORKED OUT BY DELHI POLICE

With the arrest of accused namely Sushil R/o Jhajjar, Haryana the staff of PS Chhawla has shown excellent work and solved the blind murder case.

On 24.10.2018 at 10.43 PM, a PCR Call vide DD No. 64A, regarding quarrel at Village Chhawla was received in PS Chhawla and same was marked to SI Kuldeep but the location could not be located due to incomplete address and the caller’s phone No 9958712978 was found switched off.

On 24.10.2018 at 12:19 AM, vide DD no. 3A, information regarding one unknown person aged about 45 yrs brought dead by CAT ambulance in RTRM Hospital was received and same was also entrusted to SI Kuldeep.I.O. made enquiry in this regard and found that said person was brought from the Petrol Pump at Chhawla village where one Swift Dezire taxi car No. DL 1RT 7940 was found parked in front of Petrol Pump which belonged to deceased and his mobile number written on the back of Taxi.

The deceased was identified as Sanjay R/o Sadh Nagar Palam, New Delhi, aged 38 yrs. He is presently residing in rented house at village Kanganheri since last 2 years. The deceased was married with no issues. On 24.10.2018, Post Mortem was conducted and dead body was handed over to the wife of the deceased and other family members. The PM report was awaited, however, autopsy Surgeon told verbally that the cause of death seemed to be due to throttling & PM report will be handed over on 30.10.2018.

IO conducted discreet enquiry and found that on the day of incident deceased had dispute with another Swift Dezire car owner/driver at petrol pump to get fuel (gas) first in car and had scuffled. Later, again both the parties scuffled near Air Pump of the Petrol Pump near main road and deceased was found lying unconscious there while other car owner got escaped from the spot.

From the enquiry of employees of the petrol pump, it also came to notice that the front glass as well as one side window of the car of assailant was broken by the deceased during scuffle.CCTV cameras of the petrol pump were found defunct, the nearby CCTV cameras of locality were minutely analyzed and found the movement of one white Swift old model car with broken front glass at FirniRoad of village Chhawla, but due to night hours, no registration number was visible.

During investigation, due to sustained and continuous enquiry of all employees and night shift manager, it came to notice that one Ramesh Dalal R/o village TandaheriBahadurgarh, Haryan (later identified as a known to accused Sushil as his sister is married in the family of Ramesh Dalal) have telephonically inquired from, Manager Petrol Pump regarding the incident and number of the offending vehicle, accordingly police team went to the village Tandaheri, but the said Ramesh Dalal was not found present at his home and his mobile phone was also switched off.

On receipt of the above information, three separate teams consisting of (i) SI SumitKataria& HC Subhash(ii) SI Man Mohan & Ct. Ravinder and (iii) SI Kuldeep& Ct Mukulwere prepared and deployed at three separate places for apprehending the accused under the leadership of Insp. Aishvir Singh, SHO/Chhawla and overall supervision of Sh. Vijay Singh Chandel, ACP/Chhawla who started working on the case.

Inquiry was made from the family members and sources were deployed.As per the information received from secret sources, accused was identified as Sushil R/o Jhajjar, Haryana. His white Swift car No. DL2CANxxxx was also seen with broken glass at his village after the incident.On 31.10.2018, a trap was laid accordingly and the accused was apprehended from Sector-6,Dwarka at around 8.30 AM.

The said car is found to be registered in the name of one Surender Singh Shokeen R/o DichaonKalan, brother-in-law of accused Sushil. After receipt of the PM report, a case FIR No. 449/18, dated 30.10.2018,u/s 302 IPC, PS Chhawlawas registered as per the facts and investigation taken up by Insp. Aishvir Singh, SHO/PS Chhawla.
