New Delhi : In view of increase in robbery, snatching and Arms Act, a detection team comprising of ASI Virender, HC Ravi Prakash, HC Subhash, HC Kulbir, Ct.
Raju Ram and W/HC Priti of PS Dwarka North under the supervision of Insp. Vijender Singh Kumar, SHO/Dwarka North and Sh. Madan Lal Meena, ACP/Dwarka was constituted to deploy sources to get clues about the robbers and snatchers and other criminals active in the area and to
conduct surprise checks to nab such robbers and snatchers. The police team worked relentlessly and started checking of vehicles at vulnerable
points and also deployed secret informers.
On 25.03.2022, acting on an information a trap was laid and one suspect was stopped and arrested. One country-made pistol along with one live cartridge have been recovered from his possession. As he was in possession of illegal firearm/ammunition, a case vide FIR No 198/2022, Dt-26/03/2022, U/s- 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Dwarka North. During the interrogation accused Sandeep @ Kalu confessed his involvements in several cases. His associate was arrested during further rinvestigation and further recovery was also made.
