New Delhi : The team of STARS -II Crime Branch, Delhi Police ShakarPur, Delhi under supervision of ACP Arvind Kumar led by Insp Shiv darshan have arrested a fugitive, who has been evading his arrest for the last nine years. He was declared P.O by Ld Court and a reward of Rs 20,000 was declared by Delhi Police. He has been declared PO in Case FIR No 152/2010 dt 27/05/2010 u/s 381/34 IPC,P. S Rajouri GardenN.Delhi.
On Dt 27/05/2010, Complainant has stated that he has hired two servants namely Rajesh and Kamlesh at his house for house hold work. They worked at his house for one – two months and on 27/05/2010, when he and his family were away from house for work, both the servants have stolen gold/diamond jewelly worth Rs one Crore and cash Rs 80, 000 and ran away. In this regard a, case FIR No 152/2010,dt 27/05/2010,u/s 381/34 IPC,P.SRajouri Garden,New Delhi was got registered and investigation was taken up. A Case FIR No – 311/2013 u/s 221/223/225A IPC, PS Rajouri Garden Delhi was also registered.
Specific information was received by the team of Insp Shiv Darshan that a rewarded criminal namely Rajesh @ Bhulawan who is wanted in theft case of P.S Rajouri Garden,Delhi is hiding in Ludhiana, Punjab.The said information was developed manually and technically. On 06/09/2019,a credible information was received by ASI Mahesh Kumar that Rajesh is living in Tibba Road, Ludhiana, Punjab. On this information, a team led by ASI Mahesh Kumar, Hc Sanjeev, Ct Devender and Ct Nitin was sent toTibba Road, Ludhiana, Punjab. The team collected information and searched for Rajesh, where Rajesh was traced, who has changed his appearance. He disclosed his name as Rajesh @ Bhulawan r/o vill Sherapar Triloki Pura, P.S Katra Bazar, Distt Gonda, U.P. Age 32 Years. He has been arrested u/s 41.1(c), CrPC, at STARS II, Crime Branch Delhi.
During sustained interrogation, he had disclosed that he alongwith his associate namely Kamlesh was working in the house of the complainant and collected the information about the cash and jewellery. They worked there for about two months and on the day of incident, when the family was away, they broke open the almirah and have stolen the gold/diamond jewellery worth Rs one crore and cash Rs 80,000 from the house of their owner on dt 27/05/2010 and fled away. He was apprehended by the local police after the incident but, he escaped from them.
He has been evading his arrest since the commission of the crime and was changing his looks, names and places of residence to hoodwink the police. He was living at different places in Punjab and worked at Dhabas as he is a good cook. At present he is living at Tibba Road, Ludhiana Punjab.
