With the arrest of four accused persons namely, (1) Ved Prakash s/o Sh. Gyan Singh r/o A-314, Gali No. 3, Part-II, Mukundpur, Delhi aged 40 years, (2) Rahul s/o Ravi Kumar r/o Jhuggi No. N-16/138, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 35 years, (3) Rohit @ Tulla s/o Harish Kumar r/o Jhuggi No. 1846, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 20 years and (4) Ansh @ Khempal s/o Manoj Pal r/o Jhuggi No. N-16A/130, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 19 years, team of Special staff & PS Adarsh Nagar solved a sensational case robbery with a lady doctor within 12 hours of incident, registered vide FIR No. 261/22 U/s 392/397/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act PS Adarsh Nagar and recovered robbed mobile phone, a sophisticated pistol alongwith 4 cartridges, a dagger & car used in commission of crime. One accused is a dreaded hard core criminal, previously found involved in heinous cases and other two accused are budding criminals. Main conspirator had been visiting the victim lady doctor for treatment of his children for the past 10 years.
Brief Facts & Incident Details:-
On 16.02.22 at about 8.30pm, a PCR call regarding robbery with a lady doctor aged 50 years was received in PS Adarsh Nagar. She stated that she has a ‘Child Care Clinic’ in Adarsh Nagar and when she was working in her clinic, 3 unknown persons suddenly entered in the clinic, one of them put a pistol on her head & threatened to kill her if she would shout. Another person took a doctor’s tape out of his pocket & pasted on her mouth. They took her apple mobile phone. Meanwhile, her female attendant & husband started shouting, due to which some public persons gathered outside clinic and therefore, accused persons fled away from the spot.
On the basis her statement, a case vide FIR No. 261/22 U/s 392/397/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered in PS Adarsh Nagar and investigation was taken up.
Considering the gravity of the offence & nature of incident, a dedicated team of special staff led by Insp. Amit Kumar, PS Subhash Place comprising of SI Anand, SI Dinesh Beniwal, SI Kuldeep, SI Vijender Nagar, ASI Jitender, HC Devender, Ct. Pradeep, Ct. Ankush, Ct. Indraraj, Ct. Rahul, Ct. Manjeet, Ct. Sunil and of PS Adarsh Nagar led by Insp. Shailender Singh Jakhar, SHO/ PS Adarsh Nagar, comprising of Insp. Rajender Dabas, SI Vinay, HC Vishal, Ct Mukesh, Ct. Arun was immediately constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Satish Dahiya, ACP/ Operations & Sh. Tilak Chand Bisht, ACP/Jahangir Puri and overall supervision of the undersigned. The team was briefed properly and tasked to nab the culprits and solve the case at the earliest.
During the course of investigation, CCTV footages were thoroughly examined at & around spot of incident. During analyzing the CCTV footages, 3 persons were seen entering the clinic of the victim and due to night vision, their identity could not be established. Accordingly, local inquiries were made to get any clue about the accused persons. But no clue was made out. Further, a route chart was prepared and these persons were seen in a swift dzire cab at a location at certain distance from place of incident. Accordingly, local sources were also deployed to gather the local intelligence. It was found that this cab was registered in the name of one Rahul from Sanjay Basti, Timarpur. Immediately, raid was conducted and team of special staff was able to succeed in apprehending Rahul s/o Ravi Kumar r/o Jhuggi No. N-16/138, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 35 years.
During his sustained interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the case alongwith other associates and disclosed that he required money so as to pay his loan on his cab which he has also registered with Ola & Uber. He further disclosed that the whole plan for committing this robbery was made by one Ved Prakash, who had been visiting in that clinic for the treatment of his children for the last 10 years. Another two budding criminals were also involved in this case.
The teams continuously kept raiding different locations of the accused persons and due to their sincere & painstaking efforts, they able to nab (1) Ved Prakash s/o Sh. Gyan Singh r/o A-314, Gali No. 3, Part-II, Mukundpur, Delhi aged 40 years, (2) Rohit @ Tulla s/o Harish Kumar r/o Jhuggi No. 1846, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 20 years and (3) Ansh @ Khempal s/o Manoj Pal r/o Jhuggi No. N-16A/130, Sanjay Basti, Timarpur, Delhi aged 19 years.
During their sustained interrogation, robbed mobile phone of the victim, a sophisticated pistol alongwith 4 cartridges, a dagger and car used in commission of crime recovered on their instance.
During investigation, it was found that said Ved Prakash made whole conspiracy of this robbery as he had been visiting the clinic of doctor for the treatment of his children for the past 10 years. He knew all access to the clinic & other details and Ved Prakash wanted money to pay his debt of around 7 Lakhs which he took from a local financier and Rahul wanted money to pay his cab loan. They did the recce of the place on 14.2.22 and made their plan on 15.2.22 and executed it on 16.2.22. They wanted to keep the doctor as hostage by tying her and extract more money. But when female attendant & husband of the doctor started shouting and some public persons gathered around the place of incident, they fled away from the spot.
During enquiry, it was found that while female attendant of the doctor was going home after her duty hours, she noticed 3 suspicious persons entering the clinic & she promptly alerted her husband & also informed some public persons. As female attendant & husband of doctor started shouting, accused persons fled away from the spot.
Accused Ved Prakash remained seated in the cab, when they commit the robbery, as victim lady doctor could have recognized him. Accused Rahul was carrying Pistol & accused ansh was carrying dagger, while committing robbery. Accused Rohit was carrying tying materials like rope, doctor’s tape & cutter, to be used for tying the victim.
Accused Rahul found to be a dreaded hard core criminal, previously found involved in heinous cases. Accused Rohit & Ansh are budding criminals and their possible involvement in other cases is also being traced.
