Three Accused Including Two Mastermind Agents Arrested by Delhi Police

On 09.01.2022, a case FIR No. 14/2022 U/s 420/468/471 IPC& 12 PP Act was registered at PS IGI Airport, New Delhi. In this case three accused persons (including 02agent + 01 Passenger) have been arrested.

09/01/2022, a complaint was received from Deepak Kumar Rao, SA/G, PIS No. 180651, Shift-C, BOI, IGIA, New Delhi alleging that in the intervening night of 08/9.01.2022, while he was performing duty in the departure wing of Immigration, one passenger namely Kuldeep Singh S/o Bhag Singh approached for immigration clearance to depart to Dubai, UAE by Flight No. IX-141. During clearance and scrutiny of travel documents, one fake Canadian visa was found affixed on a page of his passport and it did not have any security features as the original Canadian visa. Hence, the above mentioned case was registered and investigation was taken up.

A team consisting of SI Satish Kumar Yadav, HC Meharban Ali No. 411/A, HC Ramavtar No. 275/A & HC Rajesh No. 262/A under the leadership of Inspr. Yashpal Singh, SHO/IGI Airport and overall supervision of ACP/IGI Airport was constituted. On sustained interrogation, the pax revealed that he procured hisCanadian fake visaby one agent namely JOGINDER SINGH for a payment of Rs 16,00,000/-. It was further revealed that the agent Joginder Singh came with him on 08.01.2022 at IGI Airport and at present he is roaming in & around IGI Airport. The agent arranged Canadian visa and other documents for Kuldeep Singh.

During the course of investigation, Kuldeep Singh S/o Bhag Singh R/o VPO- Kaul, Near Bijli Board, Pabla Road, Tehsil- Dhand, Distt- Kaithal, Haryana, Age-33 Years was arrested. The team through its sources and electronic surveillance, obtained information that alleged agent Joginder Singh was using a Whatsapp number to be in touch with the pax family. Due to prompt response the team was able to arrest agent Joginder Singh within 4 Hours of the registration of case from IGI Airport. He further disclosed that he along with his associate Surjeet & other agent arranged the fake Canadian Visa for the passenger. Further 7 days police remand of agent Joginder Singh was obtained from the Hon’ble court and a raid was conducted in Kaithal & Kurukshetra, Haryana and with the help of local intelligence and electronic surveillance another agent namely Surjeet Singh S/o Late Sh. Kharak Singh R/o Vill.-Usmanpur, MSG Gali, PS- Pehowa Sadar, Tehsil- Pehowa, Distt- Kurukshetra, Haryana, Age-53 Years was arrested within 2 days of registration of case. Further efforts are being made to apprehend the other agents and their syndicate.
