It’s worth mentioning that India’s first Tobacco free Election was conducted successfully under the leadership of Dr S K Arora during State wide MCD elections in Delhi in 2017. Accordingly this time he had written letter to Election Commission of India to declare this lok sabha Elections 2019 as Tobacco free through out India. I am thankful to Election Commission of India for accepting our suggestions in public interests & issued instructions to all States Election Commissions to implement the same, said Dr Arora.
