Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot on Friday directed the Managing Director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to resolve the issues concerning the non-executive employees of Delhi Metro.
“Efforts be made to resolve the issues as early as possible so that Metro operations are not hampered in any manner. If Metro operations are affected, lakhs of passengers would be put to inconvenience,” Mr Gahlot wrote.
The minister directed that the DMRC MD should update him with the outcome of talks between the Corporation and the employees.
The minister has told the DMRC MD that in case his intervention is required at any stage to resolve the ongoing matter with employees, he will be available to resolve the issue.
